What if we perfectly captured that summertime feeling and showcased how Liquid I.V.’s new ice cream flavors are the most refreshing way to beat the heat.
The Delivery
Tan lines, dripping sweat, blazing hot sun… and then you hear it, the whimsical and nostalgic sounds of the ice cream truck. Suddenly, summer feels full of hope, optimism, and joy. That’s exactly what our director, Iris Kim, set out to capture in this vivid, refreshing film. Set in an urbanscape, we witness friends getting beat down by the sweltering heat. As the reimagined Liquid I.V. ice cream truck arrives on scene, we’re thrown into heightened moments of cathartic summertime joy. Just like the season, the film savors every second of summer with dramatic push-ins, slow-motion layered compositions, and close-ups of hydrated portraits to deliver a vibrant celebration of nostalgic flavor and summertime hydration.
The Results
Liquid IV’s Ice Cream campaign drove a 97% completion rate on YouTube Reach for 6-second ads, with 30-second ads delivering 25K clicks and a 0.15% CTR, outperforming benchmarks by 7x. The campaign effectively balanced scale and engagement, achieving the lowest CPCs and highest CTRs with 15-second ads, ensuring impactful performance across all formats.
