Bo Mirhosseni

Bo Mirhosseni was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Long Beach, California with his parents at a young age.  He started to dabble in Long Beach, following the local skaters around and filming them. Making his own skate videos. From there he landed an internship at MTV in New York where he got hands-on experience working closely with SuChin Pak in MTV News.  Bo started his commercial directing career when his commercial for Virgin Mobile was nominated at the Cannes Young
Director Showcase. He also started gaining a lot of traction in directing music videos.

Since then, Bo has worked with a wide range of global brands including
Samsung, Honda, NFL, Mercedes-Benz, NBA, Ray-Ban amongst many others. His work has been featured in numerous festivals worldwide and has garnered numerous accolades, including several Vimeo Staff Picks. Bo’s music video for “Disclosure” was voted one of the top 10 best music videos by Rolling Stones, Buzzfeed and the Huffington Post. Bo’s recent short film “Lovely Day” is an Official Selection at the 2020 Newport Beach Film Festival, Aspen Short Film Festival and Tokyo Short Film Festival. Currently, Bo has a feature film setup at XYZ films and Gina Rodriguez in talks to come on board as a producer. He is also closing a deal on another feature through Mar Vista Entertainment and Turner Broadcasting and has a third feature film that is being shopped around town with producer Craig Flores attached (300, Crawl, Charlie Countryman and more).Bo resides in Los Angeles, with his fiancé two dogs and a cat. In his free time he loves riding motorcycles, watching movies and video games.
