Medet was born and raised in Aqmola, Kazakhstan, and now resides in Los Angeles. Growing up his love for film was inspired naturally through skateboard culture. Eager to get into the film industry and without a camera, he taught himself to animate and worked his way up in the industry through animation work. His career took off when he made his first music video as an animator, “Guf umer” that went viral.
Known for his out of the box style, his work features fascinating imagery and lighting. Using both practical and visual effects, Medet’s extensive visual range allows him to create a unique viewing experience.
